The fact that this is ac based is alone a big plus. Sound quality is very good. Remember to halve the promised power values unless you like great amount of distortion :) Read the chip data sheet for more info. This is more of a normal amp than subwoofer type. For subwoofer use there are better, purpose built ones. Pleasantly surprised as I just wanted to know if these cheap amps are good for anything serious related to audio sound quality. I'm Pro audio engineer and I buy amps @ 400-1000€+ price range. Normally.
