bicouni Yes it can be used by a child to observe small insects, plants, objects... There are few settings on this model, the color rendering is very cold on the screen, and we can't adjust this. For electronics it is suitable but if you want a more faithful rendering of the colors it is not adapted. If I had to buy a new one, I will take a model a little more powerful in term of colorimetric adjustments, resolution, tilting view...

bicouni I don't have the screws with me right now, but if you look at the standards on the internet, they recommend a 2.5mm Allen wrench for M3 screws.
