The light works great and the mounting system has improved since I last purchased a light of this style on Banggood. Unfortunately, the mounting strap is still the weak part of this lamp. A rubber strap cinches the light holder to the handlebar and a shoe on the bottom of the light slides into this light holder bracket. For the light, I give this a 5/5; the clamping mechanism gets a 4/5 as it remains vulnerable to strap breakage (and loss of the light). If the light included a spare user replaceable strap, I'd give this a 5/5.

Q: Will I receive RSSI on my Taranix X9D Plus SE without using a flight controller on my fixed wing plane?

xcubo In my case I receive RSSI as telemetry in my RX (Radiomaster TX16S) directly. Just discover sensors and there it is. Also it outputs RSSI signal on CH9 (available in the side connector) that you can use with a flight controller.

Shipping was delayed, but received earlier than promised. (Thanks Canada Post) Purchased two receivers that bound to my Taranis X9D plus SE in D16 mode with telemetry. RSSI range checked okay. Now have to fly one and see how it works in the air.... :-)

I find these an economical item to have on hand so no plane gets flown without this backup alarm in case of a crash away from the runway. Make sure that the alarm can be heard when installed as some of my models restrict the alarm sound if there are limited vent openings. You can also plug these into an unused receiver channel and mix to any control channel if you wish to keep separate from servos.

I've ordered these before, so was aware of their design limitations. The threaded post is not the best bearing material for a servo arm, so I don't use on a high load application, Also, need to use thread locker to prevent the securing nut from coming off.

My glow driver only provided 30 seconds of glow power before being exhausted, even after recycling several times. (Purchased to replace a previous 1800 mAH driver which had worked well but only lasted just one season.) Contacted Bangood for a credit or replacement as product is unsatisfactory.
