Needs set up in Betaflight out of the box. So if you're not familiar with hot to use Cleanflight or Betaflight this might not be the best choice. If you are, this cute little screamer is a blast. Flies very smooth and responsive, the camera is excellent and the components are all top notch. Really like the SPC Maker stuff, but you must be able to do your own set-up before flying to have the best flying experience. If SPC wants to move to the top of the list of great drone makers they need to higher a pilot and test fly, set up and tweak the settings on their drones. People expect a BNF or PNP drone to be well tested and set-up right out of the box - these are not.

Quite simply, this is the best drone for high performance indoor flying made. It has more than enough power for fast, demanding, responsive maneuvers and flying yet is not so over powered as to be unflyable indoors. This really is the perfect marriage of the power, control and speed for indoors. The camera and VTX wrok beautifully from anywhere in our 2 story, 5400 sq ft home. You won't miss the enjoyment of flying your best quad one bit over the winter if you have one of these sweet little flyers.

This is my second X350 (and the 1st one is still flying too!) so that speaks for itself. I really enjoy flying in every mode with this quad. It's really nice to be able to warm up in 6G mode and then go to 3D and then to Idle mode for inverted flight after you've got good and ready to handle this wild thing. Dollar for dollar you can't buy more fun for acrobatic line of sight flying.

This little beast will shred the skies. Two of the wires for the rear lights where not connected and hanging loose when it arrived and there were a few loose screws. So just be sure to go over all your screws and give it a good once over before you fly it. I also recommending going into Betaflight and checking out the way it's configured. Mine was a little strange so I made a few adjustments in the configuration and switch options and all is good now. I LOVE IT!! This baby is FAST! But it also flies really well. NOT FOR A BEGINNER OR EVEN NOVICE PILOT! But if you've been flying fast drone and have ample experience on the sticks this thing is a blast.

These fly better than the original battery almost as if the C rating were higher. And the flight times are longer as well. More punch and longer flight time make these batteries a winning choice for the XK X100.

Let me start by saying; this is NOT a beginner quad!! Even an advanced quadcopter pilot may have hard time using this quad as it was meant to be flown if they have no 3D helicopter piloting experience. If you've flown 3D Heli's then this will b familiar to you albeit with a completely different feel. When transitioning from upright to inverted with a CF heli they is not hesitation and the transition is smooth as the props change from positive to collective pitch. With the XK Stunt quad the motors have to actually stop and reverse direction causing a short lag in transition. This can be enough to put an inexperienced pilot into the ground. But if you're experienced and careful while you get this thing down, it's a blast and a must have.

Q: I already own an X350 mode two version and love it. I want another X350 for a backup. Since all that appears to be in stock are Mode 1 version. If I buy a Mode 1 version will the fry with my mode 2 transmitter? Thanks!

Jonnie You can change the transmitter to your own mode 2 transmitter. They are compatible.

Q: I already own a X350 with a mode 2 transmitter. I'd like to buy another one ASAP. The mode 1 version is in stock, but version 2 is out of stock. Is the X350 same regardless of mode? Another words, could I use my mode 2 XK transmitter with the mode one X350 that is in stock?

Thurloug Guffaw mode 1 is right hand throttle, mode 2 is left hand throttle.
