Having spent (some might say 'wasted' hundreds of £s on hundreds of torches / flashlights, I know a good one when I find it and this Jetbeam RRT-M1X LEP light is a really good LEP for the price. The biggest plusses are the build quality, the fact that it's a 'straight through' laser/phosphor emitter and the rotary mode selector (I REALLY thought I'd hate a rotary mode selector before trying this…) which feels really well designed and feels really good in use, with definite 'points' in rotation for each mode, no sloppiness in positioning and no 'slack', just as it should be. Build quality overall is excellent, combined with a good quality / capacity 21700 battery and handy hard shell carry case, this is a great combination at a great price, definitely worth adding to my LEP shelf - just wish I could say that for all the other torches I've 'invested' in…

Torch arrived just fine, but no 18350 bayttery (as listing stated: ' LUMINTOP THORMINI 700M Long Distance LEP Flashlight with 18350 Battery') was included. Have noe sourced and purchased 18350 batteries seperately. Sorry to say, not up to the normal high standards I have rightly come to expect from BangGood, but also not the end of the world! Delivery was as quick as I could have hoped for too. (great little LEP torch by the looks of it!)

Q: what are the optimum batteries to power this light and where can I buy them? - all that I have tried so far have cut out at maximum ramp level, let alone on turbo

Having already purchased and worn the full jacket equivalent, I thought I'd try the gilet version. Super easy to operate and really work well under another layer/jacket too. Love it!

Easy to use, I used a much under-used 10,000maH powerbank, that now lives in this jacket each winter. Warms up quickly on highest setting and keeps snug on th lowest setting too! Love it!

Bought after watching the positive video review from Flashaholic, when light arrived I tried it with both a 26650 and 21700 battery, but the only signs of life were brief single flashes when re-attaching the tail cap after inserting the battery, there was no beam no matter what combination of button presses I tried, then, after trying the 21700 battery, with no result, upon opening the light to remove the battery, the head end battery contact barrel fell off from inside the light. I have DOZENS of flashlights and the vast majority, if not all, work pretty intuitively, this torch didn't work, intuitively, or not, and, unhelpfully came with no instructions - POOR.

WOW! Having sampled the delights of other Haikelite flashlights, this fits right in my Haikelite 'team' at the heavyweight 'bruiser' end. With its Orange Peel reflectors and five emitters, it produces a great combination beam with a subtle, but very useful hotspot combined with plenty of spill. The light output is staggering for such a convenient light,and, with three quality 21700 batteries installed, runtimes and power will rarely be a issue. Very well worth adding to any flashaholic's collection, especially at BangGood's prices - WIN - WIN!

bought on the basis of FLASHAHOLIC'S Youtube review; Light was well packaged and arrived on time, however, despite repeated checking and retrying, I cannot get the 'fandle' to operate at all. Tried all the lock out button pressing sequences, flat top and non-flat top 21700 batteries and checked many online reviews/videos without success. The fan, even when working is of limited effect on this monster thrower, at best resulting in 5-10% extra runtimes on High and Turbo level outputs, it's not a 'deal breaker' for me, but at this price point and performance level, I'd expect better. The flashlight's perfprmance is quite staggering though (even a bit of 'recoil' when you fire up Turbo...)

Having bought the GT Pro and been impressed with both price and performance I invested in this, the GT Mini and was equally immpressed with its tiny size with huge 6500 lumern output, it make it one of, if not THE, best EDC flashlights I've ever come across, and at a great price too!

Every bit as good as I'd read/seen in reviews - snappy little EDC torch, with simple 4-stage UI and a great range of light output, 18650 battery gives good runtimes on medium outputs and the glowing bezel ring is a nice touch. simple straight forward and great performance at a great price - what's not to like. A no-nonsense little light with big performance. 9/10.

having seen Flashaholic and Charles Bridgtec reviews of this torch/flashlight, I decided to buy one - not disappointed at all, great compact thrower with useful spill and very usable hotspot - great price through Bangood for a unit that could easily cost twice as much through other manufacturers/wesites - quick delivery too considering distance - thanks Convoy and Bangood!

As a keen cyclist (leisure and across London for work) I was tempted to 'update' my front light having seen othesr with much brighter / more effective lights while on my commute, not wanting spend a small fortune on a light I settled on the BL02 (I have narrow bars so went for the narrower BL02) and the matching remote bar switch. I've found it more than adequate for commuting (although, being summer have not used it in the depths of winter weather), but love the remote switching AND the dippable performance - so far a great bike light at a ridiculously low price. Only negative is the overall size, it's a bit bigger than I thought it'd be. 8/10.

Bar some true exotica, this is probably the best 'usable' EDC Zoomie available - great EDC size - 21700 practicality for long runtimes / high output, proper twisting zoom (no annoying 'floppy' extended light heads). only minuses for me are no side switch, a 'very' emiter-shaped beam on maximum throw setting (slight de-focussing DOES cure this however) and a lack of USB battery recharge capability on the light. Still the best EDC Zoomie out there though. 7/10.

When i wanted to 'update' my front light having seen othesr with much brighter / more effective lights while on my commute, not wanting spend a small fortune on a light I settled on the BL02 (I have narrow bars so went for the narrower BL02) and the matching remote bar switch. I've found the light more than adequate for commuting and love the remote switching, the bar switch mirrors all the controls of the light body buttons and operates through the USB plug on the rear of the light - works well ATM, but I'm a little concerned the winter weather might 'get into' the USB plug, which is exposed when this remote is plugged into it - so far, so good. 8/10.

Bought this to complement my four other 'zoomable' lights (all of which are fairly large older designs) and am mainly happy with this as an EDC-sized zoomie, my biggest gripe is the flimsy feel of the sliding lens mechanism when zoomed 'in' (with mechanism extended), it moves laterally too much for my liking. apart from that, as an EDC light, the zoomability is a useful feature and, at the price it still represent great value. 7/10

Truly great long-throw pocketable torch that is pretty close to similar sized LEP torches at a fraction of the price. One big advantage with this over, say the equivalent LEP to this torch: the Astrolux WP3, is that the EA02 has a useable spill area, whereas the WP3 (and other LEP units) has NONE! - Various battery options, USB charging and simple standard UI add up to a very useable proper thrower light - nice. 9/10.

It was the video review of this light by Flashaholics which convinced me to buy it, and I was not disappointed - tiny TIR-lensed (gives a very nice combined beam) keychain light that provides a great range of light intensities and functions, nice ramping UI, great RGB sidelight options and lockout/unlock comes with a veritable 'firework display' of flashes (worth the price alone!). Holds charge very well for a keychain light and the Glow In The Dark Body holds glow for a nice long time. Great keychain light at a brilliant price.

One of the best EDC lights in my collection, mainly due to a number of factors: the 21700 5000mah battery (supplied), the XHP 50.2 LED combined with a fairly deep 'faint' orange peel reflector, overall size, USB charging and the combined beam output and range of light outputs. Not many lights combine all these advantages, and, at this price, I can't think of another. Don't let the small 'handy' size put you off, this packs a serious punch... 10/10.

There weer plenty of 'mixed messages' out therein regards to this light, but I went for it anyway - found the best option for me battery-wise was to use a 30Amp 21700 with the adapter (supplied) and was really pleased with this light's combined beam - nice large hotspot combined with a generously wide useable spill. Have only tried in the garden, but with 6000lumens on tap, this would be just as at home in the Wildernessss...
