I'm worried that the part that supports the guitar will slide forward and cause a heavy electric guitar/bass to fall. Should be OK for acoustic. Looks great though...

DO NOT BUY THE LONG "L" VERSION!! There is a SERIOUS design flaw or manufacturing flaw making the product DANGEROUS. They put a round washer instead of a square plate on the base where it slides into the wall plate. This allows the shaft to rotate and will DROP YOUR GUITAR ON THE GROUND if the head is swiveled (which is the whole point of the long shaft). The red (classical guitar) version has the flaw corrected but the yellow will drop your ukulele if you try to use it. The green (electric guitar) version was backordered so the jury is still out on it (but a close look at the pictures show that the green, yellow and red version have the flaw). DO NOT BUY THE LONG VERSION UNTIL THEY FIX THE PROBLEM!

I bought 3 of these batteries. 2 worked fine but one was Dead On Arrival. It seems to be a problem with a connection within the battery itself. 2 for the price of 3 makes this a horrible value.
