BG535354912 I have had no need to upgrade the motor for power and torque reasons. What I had to do was add capacitors to the power in terminals as the electrical noise to other electrical items in the house was totally unacceptable. My use has been engraving 19mm plywood for house signs and similar sizes of hard plastic for panel fronts.

BG535354912 I imagine not, at that price and that description it is what it says, a battery disconnect switch. I would not expect it to last for many disconnects at a high current situation. It is fine for no load switching to isolate batteries when they are not needed.

BG535354912 I only received the blue sleeved set which are pointed engraving bits. They do a satisfactory job on hardwood and plywood, which is all I have used it for so far. I have bought milling bits like the ones at the end of the items pictures and just tried one in a hard plastic to engrave letters and cut through for a switch mounting hole. All fine so far !!

BG535354912 Mine has a collet chuck with a 3mm insert. Note: I would connect 3 capacitors between the motor terminals and case to reduce the electrical noise which will otherwise interfere with all the household audio and visual equipment.

BG535354912 Hi. I run CamBam for the design and gcode production and Estlcam to drive the 3018 Pro. Both are free programs so try running them on your machine first. I'm using Windows10. Cheers

BG535354912 You have to use a CAD package which will save your drawing as a DXF or SVG file. There are many alternatives, I use CAMBAM, FreeCAD and Inkscape, which saves as SVG files. These are all free but have small problems in some specific areas. One is not being able to do small circles properly, CAMBAM I think that is. I got around it by using text of a certain font and size which gave me the correct circle in the machining.
