Q: Is this connection waterproof?

abqsteve Definitely not. When the two parts of the connector are put together, the plastic does not create a waterproof connection.

They work fine but the insulation does not interlock well between the two pieces and the connection is too easy to pull apart.

For the price, I am very happy with these crimpers. I was surprised how solid they feel and that the mechanism moves so smoothly.
