Unlike SKU 1181876, was able to successfully boot a Raspberry Pi Zero W powered by this board and 2x AAA NiMH batteries. These boards are also quite small, so have a better chance of fitting into the case I'm using. I am a little concerned about over-discharging the batteries with this, since I don't think it has any UVLO feature, and the Pi doesn't have an analog input so I can't monitor the battery voltage from software. One of these had a piece chipped off of the ferrite core of the inductor, apparently during shipping. The piece was in the bag with the board it came off of.

Bought to try to power a Raspberry Pi Zero W from 2x AAA (I know, bad idea, but the pi is a retrofit into a case that already has a 2x AAA battery compartment). This module caused the pi to go into a boot loop, because when the current draw from the pi spiked, the battery voltage dropped below the shutdown voltage of 2V (presumably due to their internal resistance) and the output voltage then dropped to match the battery voltage instead of being boosted to 5V. Also, one was damaged in shipping and had a piece broken off of one of the inductors.
