It looks very, very nice with a lot of cool details. It's a piece of eye candy. But it broke on the first run. Was running it on a gravel road, it started to skid and flipped on it's side, started to roll and a rear wheel seat snapped in half. Both front and rear peices looks really thin for a car this size and weight. The battery compartment is limiting the size of battery you can put in it (unless you do some modifications yourself) Taller posts would allow you to put batteries with a max height of 35mm. Now it's only 25mm. The shock springs are too soft even if tighten to max. They stay at around 50% - 60% it's length in the rear. It does only ~ 40kph / 25mph out of the box with no additional pinions to make it go faster. Other than that, it's pretty OK. The steering is good and fast. The majority of screws are hex screws. The tires have bead locks wich should make them easy to replace when worn down. Tires feel nice and grippy. The reciever appears to be a rebranded dumborc. And as I said earlier, it's really, really nice to look at.

Q: Will this fit and work in the new hbx 901a

HSRC I got one in my HBX 901A. It will fit but you will need to do some customization to make it sit secure and in proper position.

I don't have any experience with RC cars since this is my very first one, but I love it! Had a run on a rough pebble stones, gravel road and the car handled it well. The speed of the car is more than enough for me as a first timer and the speed controller on the transmitter was nice to have at start. The led lights where already installed so all I had to do was to plug in the battery and the car was ready to rip. Shipping took 5 days from Poland to Sweden. The package had some damages but the car and other parts were undamaged.
