Q: Need to know how to factory reset this device. When I try to register through eWeLink app, it comes up with error saying "Device error, please contact seller"

manuel youcan remove the cover as there should be a reset button on the print just be carefull if its connected to main power, there might be depending model a usb interface to power it safely and reset it without connected to mains

Type C is USB power supply only. NO internal battery or battery compartment. No power supply included. Works ok with Alexa, also shows temperature on app when selecting icon. Google Home, not so good. When selecting icon, it goes to device setup. Does not show temp like Alexa does.
