Q: are the failed originals the reason for going 2 battery ?

tenset I have 5 of these beautifully made eachines and had trouble with the ignition module in one of them, I checked all wires and connectors and could not get it to function, I checked the chat logs and forums and found that the unit works just as well with 2 batteries. all 5 of mine now use 2 batteries without fault. I spun a dummy battery out of solid brass and fitted it in place of the third battery. hope this helps. cheers Lutz (tenset@bigpond.com)
