Hobbyboy ch5. and ch6 are Aux channels and need to be programmed or set up via the Radio-Transmitter. Usually channels 5, 6 are flap and retract channels. you can program them to work with the Aileron and elevator channels by mixing-slaving them to the main Ail-ele channels which are 2 &3
